Sharon Church giving away free food boxes

Sharon United Methodist Church will be giving away 1,250 boxes of fresh food to anyone and everyone on December 5th.

Sharon United Methodist Church, located at 19980 West Pleasant Lake Road, is inviting anyone and everyone to come pick up a box of free food on Saturday, December 5 from 10 am to noon or until all of the boxes are gone. The giveaway will be held in the Fellowship Hall parking lot (enter via Pleasant Lake driveway and exit via M-52).

The church will be giving away 1,250 boxes of fresh food, each including 5 pounds of meat. Food comes from excess in the supply chain due to reduced demand in restaurants and stores. Limit 10 boxes.
