Library adult book club to meet virtually

The Manchester District Library Adult Book Club will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, March 17 to discuss "The Hate U Give" by Angie Thomas. The discussion group will be held virtually via Zoom at 7 pm. To receive details about joining the March meeting, please email azahner@manchesterlibrary.info.

Copies of the book can be picked up on-demand through the library’s curbside service; however, library staff recommend calling (734) 428-8045 before visiting to confirm availability. "The Hate U Give" by Angie Thomas is the book club’s young adult selection for the season. Inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement and published in 2017, the award-winning novel is a powerful and gripping story about one girl's struggle for justice.

The Adult Book Club meets regularly on the third Thursday of each month. Future meeting formats and locations are TBD due to Covid-19 considerations. For information about the group, including future book selections, visit the Manchester District Library Book Club on Goodreads.
