Yesterday, March 14, was Pi Day. While it is a celebration of the π (pi), mathematical constant whose first three digits are 3.14, pie, the delicious baked good, usually plays a role! Manchester restaurant Frank’s Place got in on the celebration as their dessert baker Jessica Bushaw made pies for the occasion.

Bushaw stated, “I don’t normally make pies, but I had the best time making pies this weekend. It was super fun and I will probably put pies in my baking rotation at Frank’s Place.” Of the four types she baked, the chocolate coconut, malted lime, coffee with cream, and salted maple, Bushaw stated that salted maple was her personal favorite.
