The Sharon Valley Bike Shoppe is planning an open house this Saturday, May 1!

Our family-owned/operated bike shop opened March 1, after purchasing and refitting the building from Sybil Kolon and Maan Baki.

We have been building our inventory ever since, and are now fully up and running, with many new and used bikes (and more on the way!), and lots of accessories, clothing, etc. We are experts at mechanical service and do everything from fixing a flat to custom builds.

Currently we are accepting bikes for tune-ups and repair on a first-come, first-served basis. Wait time right now is about a week. We also service wheelchairs, scooters, e-bikes and so on (anything except petroleum-powered contraptions).

Our latest line of new bikes are made right here in Michigan! The Detroit Bikes (detroitbikes.com) are coming in and selling within days of their arrival, and we even just shipped one to Colorado! They are very popular for their features, quality, and reasonable price point. We expect to have more Detroit Bikes, including electric bikes, in stock for the Grand Opening celebration next Saturday.

We hope many people stop by to say hello and see all our new inventory! We will be serving cake, coffee, ice-cream and maybe some other goodies, protected by a glass display case donated to us by Sweet Leilani’s Bakery. All CDC Covid guidelines will be followed, so be sure to wear a mask. Also, we will be limiting the number of people in the store at any given time.

We hope to see many Manchester and out of town folks there, next Saturday May 1, from 9 am-5 pm!

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
