April 2021 student of the month, Liam Riley and High School principal Eric McCalla

Our April 2021 Manchester Community Schools Foundation Student of the Month for Manchester High School is Liam Riley. Liam is the daughter of Amy Ahrens and William Riley. He is a member of the National Honor Society over the last two years, and Spanish club for the one year that it has been running.

Liam has been a member of the Cross Country. He plays the shortstop position in baseball and the center and forward for Basketball. Liam ran the 800, throws shot put and runs the mile for track and field.

Liam volunteers in many places. Among the places he has volunteered are Bethel Church, National Honor Society, Manchester Mens Club, and ringing bells for the Salvation Army.

Liam was Manchester's Homecoming King while still maintaining a 3.914 GPA.

After high school Liam plans to apply for an electrician's apprenticeship at Ann Arbor Electrical JATC.
