Sharon United Methodist Church is teaming up with Manchester United Methodist Church, Bethel United Church of Christ, and Emanuel United Church of Christ to give away 1,250 boxes of free, fresh food on Saturday, May 22, from the Manchester High School, 20500 Dutch Drive. (Turn onto Dutch Drive via M-52.) This free distribution of food boxes containing fresh vegetables, fruit, dairy, and pre-cooked meat will begin at 10 am and continue until noon or all boxes have been distributed.

This is the third free food box giveaway the Sharon United Methodist Church has organized/participated in during the pandemic. The first food box giveaway in December 2020 and the second was in March. Both events saw more than 240 vehicles each, and 40,000+ pounds of food were distributed at each.
