Last month's silent auction at Worth Repeating was a great success.

Worth Repeating held a silent auction of a variety of unique and valuable donated items through May 8, which was very successful and expects to earn a total of $940 for the charity resale shop's efforts.

Handmade quilts, original artwork, and luxury handbags were just some of the items offered on which bidders could take their chances of getting a bargain while making a donation to Worth Repeating, who invests all of its profits back to the community.

"We are very grateful for all the donations and the generous bidders who made that possible," said Pat Sahakian, board member of Worth Repeating. "This month we were able to support the Klager PTO’s teacher appreciation effort, the high school curriculum , insurance for the canoe race, and the block party to be held on Main Street after the Chicken Broil."

"We look forward to continuing to support the community with all the profits we make from the sales at Worth Repeating," Sahakian concluded.

Worth Repeating is located at 110 E. Main St., in downtown Manchester.
