During the month of April there were 107 calls for service. During this time, 39 traffic stops were made, resulting in six citations.

Noteworthy events in the Village of Manchester during the month include:

On April 6, a Collaboration Deputy was dispatched to the 700 block of Parr Street for a report of a weapons violation. The complainant reported that they had obtained information that an employee was possibly in possession of a firearm while at the business. Deputies arrived, located, and detained two subjects. Ultimately, one was arrested for originally carrying a concealed firearm, and the second was also arrested for carrying a concealed firearm after the original suspect handed it off to the second suspect. The two suspects were temporary workers that have subsequently returned to South Carolina. The subjects were in possession of the gun for protection due to an altercation in Ann Arbor the night before. The altercation was not with anyone who works at the business on Parr, and no threats were made by the suspects to anyone on scene or otherwise.

On April 7 and April 15, Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of City Road for a report of a malicious destruction of property complaint. In both instances, unknown suspects threw rocks through the windows of the building. At the time there were no witnesses; however, suspect identification has been established and deputies are following up with potential charges on three juvenile subjects.

Ordinance violations investigated: 11.
