June is a BIG month at the Clinton Township Public Library!

In addition to our normal services and programming such as book clubs, quilt block of the month, faxing/printing, and storytimes, Summer Reading launches June 12. This summer’s theme is Tails and Tales, and our calendar is jam-packed with in-library activities, challenges, programs, and prizes for all ages! Visit the library to enroll yourself and/or your children. Or visit our tent on Saturday, June 12 at SummerFest to register and enjoy a storytime featuring some unexpected guests.

Starting June 14, join us for:

Father’s Day Shop—Children shop for the special dad/grandpa/uncle in their lives. June 14-19 (during regular library hours).

Storytimes with Animals—Children will enjoy stories, finger play, and songs Thursdays from 11:30-11:45. Then, the animals will join the fun at 11:45! Each week we will be hosting different animals. Animal loving older children, teens, and adults are welcome!

Thrilling Thursdays—Six weeks of programming with guest presenters and/or fun activities. Beekeeping, Internet Safety, Clinton Fire Department tour, and more.

Weekly puzzles and crafts-to-go and online quizzes

Adult and teen in-library craft nights every other Monday at 5 pm

Stuffed Animal Adoption event (July 1 at 2 pm) … with some very real, very cute animals in attendance!

Super-fun classes on stop-action movie making, drawing with digital tablets, and photography!

... And MORE! There are far too many things to list here, so please check the library’s Events calendar on the website for details about the exciting, enriching, and educational activities and programs we have planned for you!

A final reminder: Yes, we are open to the public! Bring your reading wish list and browse to your heart’s delight. Also, our public computers are available for use.
