Sunday, June 13th was a landmark celebration at Community Bible Church located at 8400 Sharon Hollow Road. The church family celebrated the largest one-time investment in missions in their church history. The focus of the project, called Acts 1:8, was to invest $10,000 in 3 categories: local ministry, U.S. based ministries as well as world missions. The theme of the project was “God has blessed us so that we can bless others.”

Paster Ron Clark commented, “While this past year of ministry in the midst of Covid-19 has been challenging and our in person worship numbers have been down, our financial giving increased to the point where we realized that God wanted us to bless others with our finances.”

Representatives from five different ministries were present to receive gifts totaling $30,000. The missions giving included the following: Manchester Community Resource Center, Trinity Aviation Academy on behalf of a Manchester High School graduate, Jocelyn Boote, Tentmakers Bible Mission based in Lagrange, WY, Women at Risk International located in Wyoming, MI, World Mission based in Grand Rapids, MI and Bridge to Life ministries, a marriage ministry located in Spring Lake, MI.

Following the celebration service, the church family enjoyed a time of fellowship and refreshments to celebrate what God has done.
