Manchester United Methodist Church’s Absolutely Free Ice Cream Social

Last week, we reported that Emanuel Church's Ice Cream Social this coming Thursday would be Manchester's last ice cream social of the season.

We were incorrect! There’s a surprise addition coming late to the 2021 ice cream social lineup as Manchester United Methodist Church offers a fresh take on a beloved classic. On Thursday, August 19th, Manchester UMC will be hosting an “Absolutely Free Ice Cream Social” in Chi-Bro Park from 4:30-7 pm.

Hot dogs, ice cream, and desserts will be served at no cost, and everyone is invited to linger for a while to play some yard games or chat with a neighbor. Bring a chair or sit at a table under the pavilion, send the kids off to enjoy the play structure or the sand volleyball court, and come ready to enjoy the company of friends and neighbors, old and new!
