During the month of July, there were 118 calls for service. During this time, 47 traffic stops were made, resulting in eight citations. Noteworthy events in Manchester Village during last month include:

On July 18, a Collaboration Deputy responded to the area of the 200 block of E. Main St. for a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle's owner parked the vehicle in the area earlier in the evening on the street and when he came back to it later in the same evening, it was missing. The owner does not know who took the vehicle, however it was recovered the next day in the same area. It is believed that the vehicle's owner may have had an unknown friend or acquaintance take the vehicle as a prank and put it back in nearly the same spot several hours after it was taken.

On July 22, a Collaboration Deputy responded to the 300 block of S. Macomb for a report of a Malicious Destruction of Property. An unknown suspect(s) spray-painted the words "Julie Black" on a garage door in the area. The homeowner does not know a "Julie Black" and no suspect information was obtained. The investigating Deputy canvassed the surrounding neighborhood, area business that sold spray paint, and spent significant time on social media trying to locate potential suspect information, but was unsuccessful in discovering any leads.

On July 27, the Michigan State Police responded to the 300 block of Riverside Dr. for a report of two semi-truck tires that came off the semi-truck and struck a house, ultimately causing significant damage to the home. At this time, there is no information from the MSP indicating what vehicle the tires came from. There were no injuries reported within the residence that the tires struck.

Ordinance violations for July included blight vehicles in the 200 block of Territorial Road and the 400 block of City Road; Grass red tagged and letters sent in the 200 block of Duncan St. (corrected) and the 200 block of St. Washington (corrected); 300 block of Ann Arbor Street (turned over to DPW); Verbal warnings on grass in the 500 block of Ann Arbor Street and 200 block of N. Union were corrected; and two potential social district violations in the 400 block of W. Main Street, where the deputies were unable to locate the described subjects.
