Mr. Andy Rousello is the new principal at Manchester Junior/Senior High School

Manchester Community Schools Superintendent Dr. Bradley Bezeau shared this announcement with the MCS community last week:

"It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome Andy Rousselo to our team as the new Principal of the Manchester Jr./Sr. High School. He comes to us from Bedford High School in Temperance, where he served the students and families of the Bedford Public Schools as Bedford High School Principal for five years and Bedford High School Assistant Principal for seven years."

Bezeau also added a huge thanks to all who were a part of the screening, staff, and community sessions over the past two weeks as the administration and district worked together throughout this process. Several outside candidates applied for the principal position as it was posted, along with three internal candidates. A total of six candidates were interviewed, with four called back for a second round.

Mr. Rousselo brings to the district a strong understanding of school systems and structures that support teaching and learning. He has served as Principal, Assistant Principal, and Teacher with Bedford Public Schools in Temperance, Michigan.

He says, "My wife Michelle and I have three wonderful children — Madison, 16, Alex, 13, and McKenzie, 8. Currently we live in Ida, Michigan. I am super excited for the school year to get under way and an opportunity for students, teachers, and parents to have a more normal school experience."

Bezeau said, "(Rousselo) is incredibly organized, and he has an extensive knowledge in working with various scheduling systems within schools. He was able to be with our staff on staff Opening Day this week, and began getting to know our community at this week's high school football game and at our school's Open House.

"We'll also have other opportunities throughout the Fall to meet and interact with Mr. Rousselo."
