Breeda Miller is starring in a one-woman show, Mrs. Kelly's Journey Home.

Tickets are now on sale for the world premier of Manchester’s own Breeda Kelly Miller’s one-woman show!

Miller has created a theatrical experience that combines love, roots, and a sense of connection. Mrs. Kelly’s Journey Home is an original work, written and performed as a one-woman show by Miller and directed by Brian Cox. The show is presented by Pencilpoint Theatre, premiering Friday, October 22, 2021 at the University of Michigan’s The Arthur Miller Theater, 1226 Murfin Ave., in Ann Arbor.

This show brings to the stage the experiences that are often unspoken by so many generations of immigrants and adults caring for their aged parents. It’s the story of a woman’s journey from Ireland to America and then, in her later years, her struggle with dementia. Miller describes the show as, “laughs, tears and lots of tea.”

Performances are on Friday, October 22 at 8 pm, Saturday, October 23 at 8 pm, and Sunday, October 24 at 2 pm. Tickets are $22 and are available at: https://mutotix.umich.edu/overview/3002 .
