A basketball coaching clinic is set for this weekend hosted at Manchester High School.

Manchester High School Varsity basketball coach Zach Neal announces an opportunity for coaches at all levels (and from all districts) to participate in a clinic on Oct. 9 to improve their coaching skills and support a good cause. The clinic will be hosted by Manchester High School, 20500 Dutch Drive.

The PKD Foundation is a non-profit organization in Kansas City. The PKD Basketball Coaches Clinic is designed to bring awareness and generate funds to fight polycystic kidney disease. The four-speaker line up will provide opportunities to learn more about the game of basketball for coaches at all levels.

Michigan Assistant Coach Phil Martelli headlines the speaker line-up; other coaches include Steve Hawkins (WMU-retired), Milt Barnes (Jackson), and Carrie Moore (Michigan Women's Assistant). This line-up has accumulated almost 1,000 career wins. The day will be spent talking on post-play, defense, the transition game, and one-on-one sets. The tentative agenda starts at 8:30 am and ends at 12:30 pm.

Walk-Up registration is welcome and registration the day of the clinic will be $75. Email ahrensm1950@yahoo.com for the Registration Form.
