Letter to the editor: Thank you from the Knights of Columbus!

The Manchester Knights of Columbus would like to thank the residents of Manchester and the surrounding community for their generous support of our Annual MI (mentally impaired) Drive! Better known as our annual "Tootsie Roll" Drive, it was our 47th year of helping children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The proceeds from this event will be donated to the St. Louis Center in Chelsea. This wonderful facility feeds and houses about 75-80 people who are mentally impaired.

A special thanks to the local businesses who graciously allowed us to stand in front of their doors: Manchester Marathon, The Manchester Market, True Value Hardware, Village Gas Mart (BP), The Dollar General, Linda's Diner, and the Hungry Wolf. Thank you!
