September 2021 Senior Student of the Month: Elise Tackett

Our September 2021 Manchester Community Schools Foundation Student of the Month for Manchester High School is Elise Tackett. Elise is the daughter of Shannon and Kenneth Tackett. Elise has been a member of the Key Club for four years. While serving in the Key Club she was co-Vice President for two years and is now the co-President. Elise has been in the National Honor Society for the last two years while currently being the co-secretary. Elise has been a Link Crew mentor for two years. She has been a Connect with an Individual Mentor for the last 2.5 years.

Elise is our high school announcer who reads the announcements for our building daily. She has been an active member of the Spanish Club for the last two years and was elected Vice President last year. Elise has been elected president of the Spanish Club this year. She is also a flag in the Marching band and involved in Choir.

Elise plans to be a nurse practitioner after high school, possibly in the field of neonatology. She hasn’t settled on what college she will pick, but is seriously looking at Saginaw Valley State University and Northern Michigan University.
