The Manchester Mirror is partnering with the Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce to highlight a different Chamber member each week! This week we are spotlighting The Sutton Agency. Visit https://48158.com/ for information on joining the Chamber.

Fun facts about the Sutton Agency: The building was originally the People's Bank and still has the bank vault in the basement to this day. The building has also been home to a Secretary of State office before Don Sutton opened his insurance agency in 1959.

The insurance business was originally family owned (since 1880!), and there have been additional purchases over the years. The Sutton Agency has provided insurance in downtown Manchester for more than 60 years.

"The Sutton Agency is here to stay, and wishes to continue to offer friendly faces, personalized service, and neighbors you can count on," says Lisa Fookes, who is assisted by Annette Vlcek in the day to day operations of the business. Lisa has worked for the agency for 15 years last March and Annette has been here for 12 years last March. Troy Lancaster has been an agent with the Lancaster Agency for 13 years last March, and has been with the Sutton Agency since 2018.

Why did they choose to join the Chamber? "To help support the businesses of Manchester, which is assisted by having a strong Chamber of Commerce.
