Emanuel to hold fundraising raffle for upgrades to the church

Emanuel United Church of Christ is having a raffle, with the proceeds going to EUCC Renovation Campaign. This campaign is raising money over the next couple years for extensive renovation, including updated restrooms and an elevator to make our facility more accessible to all. EUCC provides meaningful community services to the families of Manchester, and these renovations will be welcome.

The church will be holding a raffle at Christmas in the Village on December 4. The Renovation Committee also will be selling tickets downtown during the month of November; Thursdays in front of Worth Repeating from 3:30-5:30 pm, and in front of Sutton Agency on Saturday mornings 10 am till noon. Tickets are also being sold in the church office. We have a collection of 14 items from local individuals, businesses, and artists. Tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5. Stop and check out our beautiful baskets, artwork, and gifts.

Watch for all EUCC happenings December 4th during Christmas In The Village. We will have a soup and sandwich luncheon available 11 am - 2 pm. Call our office at 734-428-8359 for information on vendor tables, which will be open from 9 am -3 pm. Emanuel has always been known for our bake sale and yummy goodies, so come and check us out! Raffle tickets will be sold all day December 4, with a drawing at end of the day to 14 lucky winners. Proceeds will benefit the Renovation Fund.

This year we are also inviting the community to sing Christmas Carols in the sanctuary from 2 - 3 pm during Christmas in The Village.
