Manchester District Library

Manchester District Library (MDL) will offer a variety of events and activities for all ages during December.

Story Vision: Creative Writing for Any Medium Wednesday, December 1 | 6:30 pm | Village Room
Start by talking about our favorite stories, and why we even want to write in the first place. Learn an easy way to develop a story from any idea. To prove the theory, the whole class will work together to create a plot on the spot!  Whether you're just starting a story or you've hit a writer's block halfway through, this class will help you look at your writing in a whole new way. Recommended for teens and adults.

MDL Board of Trustees Meeting Thursday, December 2 | 7 pm | Village Council Chambers

The Manchester District Library Board of Trustees is an all-volunteer governing body made up of two members from each of the library’s participating service areas: Manchester Village, Manchester Township, Bridgewater Township, and Freedom Township. Trustees create and oversee library policies, administer the budget, and set the strategic plan. Members of the public are welcome to attend the monthly meetings.

80th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor: A Presentation and Discussion Tuesday, December 7 | 7 pm | Village Room
Join local military historian Robert Elliott for a presentation about the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

Crochet 101 Wednesday, December 8 | 6 pm | MDL
