During the month of October 2021, there were 152 calls for service, with 60 traffic stops made resulting in 16 citations. Noteworthy events in Manchester Village last month include:

On October 13, a Collaboration deputy responded to the 300 block of Wildwood Drive for a report of a suspicious person that had possibly tried to enter the complainant's locked home through the night. No signs of entry were located, nor was there any sign of damage to the property. No witnesses were located for this incident.

Ordinance violations include a trash verbal warning in the 500 block of Furnace Street; grass verbal warning in the 300 block of E. Vernon Street; and red tag warnings for grass violations in the 300 block of E. Vernon and the 200 block of N. Union. All of the aforementioned violations were corrected. A citation was issued for blight in the 400 block of Adrian Street. There had been no resolution of the violation as of Sgt. Gebauer's report to Village Council last Monday, Nov. 15.

Gebauer also reported to council that the Halloween event in Wurster Park went well and was safe and well organized.
