Obituary: Karl Bud Jacob

Karl Bud Jacob (February 14, 1973  - December 29, 2021)

Karl Frederick “Bud” Jacob, Jr., age 48 of Tecumseh passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. He was born February 14, 1973 in Tecumseh, the son of Karl Frederick and Margaret (Cueny) Jacob, Sr.

Bud graduated from the Porter Education Center in Adrian.  He was raised in the Catholic Faith.  Bud enjoyed time at Goodwill in the LINC Program and riding horses with Lenawee Therapeutic Riding. He loved going to the zoo, having McDonald’s money in his wallet, talking on the phone and telling people to “go home”. Most of all Bud loved spending time with his family and friends.

Bud is survived by his parents, Karl and Margaret of Manchester; two sisters, Lori (Andrew) Norton of White Pigeon and Denise (Tim) Bargy of Manchester; nephew and niece, Jacob and Sarah Norton; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visitation for Bud will be from 4-7 pm on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Clinton Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7 pm.  A Funeral Mass will be at 11 am on Wednesday at St. Joseph Shrine Church in the Irish Hills with Fr. Bob Pienta as celebrant with visitation from 10 am until the Mass.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.
