Manchester District Library (MDL) will offer a variety of events and activities for all ages during February:

MDL Board of Trustees Meeting
Thursday, February 3 | 7 pm | Village Council Chambers
The Manchester District Library Board of Trustees is an all-volunteer governing body made up of two members from each of the library’s participating service areas: Manchester Village, Manchester Township, Bridgewater Township, and Freedom Township. Trustees create and oversee library policies, administer the budget, and set the strategic plan. Members of the public are welcome to attend the monthly meetings.

Valentine Sensory Bottles
Tuesday, February 8 | 5 pm | MDL Youth Area
We’re making sensory jars for Valentine’s Day! Once you’re finished loading your bottle from our variety of provided material, seal it up tight for mess-free sensory playtime. All ages are welcome.

Adult Book Club
Wednesday, February 16 | 7 pm | Village Room + Zoom
Join other members in discussion of SULA by Toni Morrison. Copies of the book and the complete 2021-2022 reading list are both available now, and can be picked up on-demand from the library. Email manchesterlibraryrequest@gmail.com to learn about joining virtually.

Houseplants 101

Join the owner of myPlantTerra for a demonstration of plant care, re-potting, and propagation; plus considerations before purchasing a plant and more! All ages welcome.

Story Time
Weekly on Tuesdays | 11:15 am | MDL Youth Area
Join Miss Stacia for stories, songs, and activities recommended for ages 3 to 8.

Tech Help Desk
Weekly on Thursdays | noon-3 pm | by appointment
Get hands-on help with technology of all kinds with a 30-minute help desk session, available by appointment. Bring your own device or use one of the library’s computers and get assistance with hardware, software, apps, online accounts, and more. Call (734) 428-8045 or email manchesterlibraryrequest@gmail.com to schedule an appointment. Limit two people per appointment; masks are required.

Manchester District Library (MDL) is proud to serve the Village of Manchester, Manchester Township, Bridgewater Township, and Freedom Township. Village of Clinton and Clinton Township residents are also eligible for MDL library cards and welcome to use all MDL resources.

Current Manchester District Library hours are Monday-Wednesday 11 AM-8 PM, Thursday 11 AM-7 PM, Friday 11 AM-6 PM, and Saturday 10 AM-2 PM. The most up-to-date hours and the latest news are always available on the MDL website.
