Howard Kuhl, 1930 - 2022

Howard Kuhl, 92, of Tecumseh, formerly of Saline, Michigan, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022. Howard’s family and friends will gather Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at Eineder Funeral Homes - Manchester Chapel. His funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM with family and friends gathering at 10:00 AM until the time of service at Community Bible Church, 8400 Sharon Hollow Rd, Manchester. Burial will take place at 3:00 PM at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.  Pastor Ron Clark will serve as celebrant.

 He was born on January 22, 1930, in Richwood, West Virginia to Howard and Elenora (Gregory) Kuhl. Howard married the love of his life, Ruby Morrow, on December 27, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan.   He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  Howard served as Corporal in the Marine Corps, then earned his degree in Architecture, retiring from Daniels and Zermack Architects of Ann Arbor.  Howard was devoted to his family and his faith.  He was an active member of Community Bible Church.  When he wasn’t spending time outdoors, he enjoyed using his hands, painting with watercolors or working with stained glass.

Howard will be missed by his wife of 69 years, Ruby; his children, Gregory (Joyce) Kuhl of Saline, David (Diana) Kuhl of Saline and Jean (Richard) Entrup of Tecumseh; sisters, Mable Andrick and Jeanette Kuhl, brother-in-law Robert Knopf all of St. Albans, West Virginia; grandchildren Chad (Pam) Stephens, Alex (Ana) Stephens, Katherine (John) Hull, Lauren (David) Zink, Kristine (Sean) Gilbertson, Amy Kuhl, Beth Kuhl, Andrew Entrup, Rachel Entrup and Jennifer Entrup; great grandchildren Aubree and Grayson Stephens, Emma Stephens, Joseph Howard Herndon-Hull, Mia Hull, Sadie and Lacey Zink, Caleb and Micah Gilbertson. He is preceded in death by his parents, step-mother, Tressie (Godfrey) Kuhl, infant twin brothers, Donald and Ronald Kuhl and sister Mary Jane Kuhl Knopf.
