Manchester High School’s robotics team, 6081 Digital Dislocators have finished their first competition of the 2022 season this weekend. They ended the qualification matches as the 6th-ranked team overall out of 34 total teams. They advanced to the playoffs and earned the privilege of being captain of the fourth alliance.

Unfortunately, their alliance was eliminated in a tiebreaker match in the quarterfinals, but the team would like to give a big shout out to both 7160 Ludington O-Bots and 8423 Next Express for being amazing alliance partners.

The Digital Dislocators were the recipients of the Team Spirit award, which "celebrates extraordinary enthusiasm and spirit through exceptional partnership and teamwork furthering the objectives of FIRST." This is the first judged award that the team has ever received.

The team states, “We are so proud of our students and mentors for all of their hard work and dedication so far this season, and we can't wait to see where the rest of the season takes us. Finally, we would especially like to thank all of the parents for all of their help and support this season and always.”

The next competition for the Digital Dislocators will be held at Woodhaven High School in Flat Rock, MI on April 8th -10th.
