The Easter Bunny visited the seasonally-decorated Flower Garden last Saturday!

Easter is just around the corner (April 17), and Manchester has some special events in store for fans of the Easter Bunny.

Sweet Leilani’s welcomed their fuzzy white friend last Saturday for an afternoon photo session and a whirlwind tour of the downtown, and the bunny will make a return appearance this coming Saturday, April 9, from 2-4 pm. Bring your camera (but not your pets, please!)

One tradition that will not be happening this year is the annual pancake breakfast, normally held at the Sportsman’s Club.

A new event this year, however, will be hosted at Acorn Farmers’ Market & Café, presented by Clever Creations by Amy on Saturday, April 16. Using polymer clay, moss, foam, and a miniature crate (all materials provided and included in the cost) participants will make a “Veggie and Naughty Bunny Crate” decoration for a cost of $20. Just bring your creativity. Everyone ages 5 and up is welcome. Register on Eventbrite. The event will be from 10:30-11:30 am, so you don’t need to miss …

… the date everyone waits for all year long … It’s the Men’s Club Easter Egg Hunt at Carr Park. The Easter Bunny is expected to make one more appearance at Carr Park on the 16th before hopping back into rabbit-land for another year.

The fun starts at noon, and all 2,500 eggs (purchased from the Manchester Market), are expected to be claimed by 12:05! There will be toys, candy, and other prizes distributed. Don’t be late; you will not want to miss this special traditional event.
