Yoga is back! Washtenaw Community College is planning to hold in-person Senior Focus classes during spring/summer term beginning in May 2022. The Manchester Area Senior Citizens Council, Inc., will again sponsor the yoga classes. They will be held at the Manchester United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 501 Ann Arbor St., on Tuesdays, from 9:30 to 11am. Yoga classes will meet May 3 through July 19. There will be no classes on May 31 and July 5. They are gentle classes aimed for the 55+ crowd.

The church follows the Washtenaw County rules for masking, so as of now, masks are not required for participation. If the County changes the rule, the church will, too. If you feel better wearing a mask, by all means feel free to do so.

Senior Focus classes offered through Washtenaw Community College are offered at no cost for residents of Washtenaw County who are 65 years and older. The Manchester Area Senior Citizens Council, Inc., covers the Village of Manchester as well as the townships of Bridgewater, Freedom, Manchester, and Sharon.
