Starting this week, video games are available for checkout at the Manchester District Library (MDL). The new collection includes titles for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch console gaming systems. MDL patrons can check out one game at a time for three weeks.

Gamers can also explore related material from other MDL collections. Popular topics in fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels, comics, and video include Minecraft, Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, Mario, Kirby, Star Wars, The Witcher, Halo, and more.

Plans to expand the video game collection are already in development. If patrons have title suggestions, those can be submitted at the front desk or by email to request@manchesterlibrary.info.

The new gaming collection is located on the library ground floor next to the front desk, where library staff would be delighted to answer any questions.

Manchester District Library (MDL) is proud to serve the Village of Manchester, Manchester Township, Bridgewater Township, and Freedom Township. Village of Clinton and Clinton Township residents are also eligible for MDL library cards and welcome to use all MDL resources.

Manchester District Library hours are Monday–Wednesday, 10 am–8 pm; Thursday–Friday, 10 am-6 pm; and Saturday, 10 am–2 pm. The most up-to-date hours and the latest news are always available on the MDL website.
