Obituary: David C. Weaver

David C. Weaver, 10/22/1930–5/18/2022
David Weaver, beloved only child of Naomi Banks Weaver and Clarence Payne Weaver, was born in Niagara Falls, New York, in 1930. He died on May 18 in Peachtree City, Georgia, where he has resided for the last 19 years.
Benefitting from a sharp and curious mind, David graduated from the University of Michigan where he met Nancy Budnik. They began their lives together after eloping in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, while David served Uncle Sam. David joined Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, New York, after his discharge from the US Army. David worked his entire career for Kodak and enjoyed his job and the people he worked with.
With the births of a son, Mark, in 1956 and a daughter, Julie, in 1957 the Weaver family was complete and on the move. They first moved from Rochester to Chamblee, Georgia, then returned to Rochester for a few years, finally landing in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, until early retirement in 1989. Nancy discovered Lake Hartwell, Georgia, and they spent the first happy 10 years of retirement playing golf and making new friends. David and Nancy then moved to Peachtree City, Georgia.
David was generous, kind, patient, and a wonderful father with a great sense of humor. He was deeply loved and will be missed.
