Manchester Village Parks Commission had a great turnout at its volunteer clean-up day for the disc golf course on Saturday, August 20. Helpers included: Pat DuRussel, Sue Gleason, Pat and Dwayne Vailliencourt, Ruth Raleigh, Grover, Rosie and Annabelle, Peter Hochgraf, disc golf enthusiast, Boy Scout Troop 426 Leader Mike Pomorski, Tom Pierce, Manchester Men’s Club, Kindra Weid, and a few other helpers who stopped by.

“Many hands made for quick work removing lots of trees and brush from hole #7!“ said Weid. “We were so grateful for their help!“

She added that the steep slopes of the ravine made for some pretty hard labor, carrying trees out. All of the workers were deeply appreciated.
