Yellow ribbons expanding around Manchester to support Whelan family
by Marsha Chartrand
More Manchester-area folks are finding yellow ribbons at local businesses to help them remember, honor, and support Paul Whelan in his quest for a release from Russian imprisonment. Paul’s sister, Elizabeth Whelan, will be returning to Washington, D.C., this week to continue advocating for Paul in hopes of getting some updates on efforts to bring him home.
Get your yellow ribbons from Marti’s Salon, River Raisin Antiques, Worth Repeating, and the Manchester District Library.

This Manchester Township home has its yellow ribbon on a fence post.

This residence in the village added a “Free Paul Whelan“ message to its yellow ribbon.
