Land assessment, management & conservation conversation coming to Bridgewater Township
by Sara Swanson
Do you consider natural areas and farmlands to be assets to your community? Would you like them to remain? Then join your neighbors and Township representatives on April 17 from 6:30 to 8pm at the Bridgewater Township Hall located at 10990 Clinton Rd to learn about the benefits of and opportunities for farmland and natural area preservation! Come learn about options for conserving or managing your farmland, forests, wetlands, and fields. Representatives from local conservation organizations, including Washtenaw County Conservation District, Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation, Legacy Land Conservancy, and River Raisin Watershed Council, will discuss individual properties and goals following the presentation. Refreshments provided.
This meeting is the third one being held in the Manchester area, with one in January held in Sharon Township and one in February held in Manchester Township. Everyone from the Manchester area, regardless of which township they live in, is invited to attend. Please RSVP online at https://www.washtenawcd.org/lpcbridgewatertwp.html or call (734) 302-8715.
