After three years of alternate locations, the Manchester Outdoor Farmers Market is returning this May to Chi-Bro Park! Every Thursday from 3pm to 7pm, come shop for fresh produce, honey, and crafts, while enjoying weekly kids’ treasure hunts and activities, food trucks, live music from 5pm to 7pm, and more. Chi-Bro Park is located at 209 Ann Arbor St (M-52), across the street from Riverside Park, borders the walking path, and features plenty of parking, shade, grass, a pavilion for the live music, picnic tables, and playground equipment for the kids.

The Farmers Market moved to Chi-Bro for the summer of 2015 from its long-standing location on Adrian Street because traffic had to be detoured down Adrian Street while the Main Street Bridge was being replaced. Even after the bridge was replaced and re-opened, vendors preferred the park, so the Market stayed until 2020 when, in order to compensate for the loss of the grocery store, the Farmers Market expanded into Acorn and acquired its first year-round location, moving the outdoor market.

The Manchester Farmers Market is still accepting applications from vendors for the 2023 summer. If you are interested in selling produce, eggs, baked goods, crafts, etc., or have any questions, contact the market manager at farmersmarket48158@gmail.com.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
