It’s happening! Yes, there will be a community-wide garage sale in Manchester this summer! This is a great way to meet your neighbors and divest yourself of some unwanted items … and maybe even gather up a little extra cash. It’s a win-win situation!

Manchester Community Garage Sales are set for Friday and Saturday, July 28 and 29, between 9am and 5pm. A $5 fee covers one sign and provides you a map of participants, along with brief info about items that will be offered at each sale.

Kate LaVigne, who is organizing the sale with Joe Walsh of Caife Aspire, says, “Come to Caife Aspire, 410 City Road, during its regular student business hours — Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 4 to 7pm to pay your registration fee and to complete the registration form, beginning this Wednesday, June 28. Signs and maps will be available to pick up at Caife Aspire the week prior to the sales.”

In addition, tables will be available to rent at Caife Aspire for those who may be interested in selling items there, for those who may not have space, or those who just want to be in a central location. The $25 fee covers a table for both days and those participants will also be included on the map/info flyer.

Questions? Email caifeaspire@gmail.com or message Caife Aspire via Facebook Messenger.

Thanks to those volunteers who have stepped forward to keep this tradition going in Manchester for another year. It’s eagerly anticipated each year and there’s lots of fun for everyone.
