Get ready for the Manchester Community Garage Sale!

It’s almost time for the community garage sales.

Coming soon to a garage near you … the Manchester Community Garage Sales!

Scheduled for the weekend of July 28 and 29, the village and outlying townships will have garage sales galore. Based upon community feedback and participant recommendations, the planning team has changed the times of the garage sales to 9am–5pm, according to Kate LaVigne, one of the team members.

If you haven’t signed up yet, there is still time! Stop in at Caife Aspire (the former Ackerson Building at 410 City Rd) between 4 and 7pm on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. The low $5 registration fee includes advertising, a listing in the community garage sale brochure and map, and one yard sign.

Your signs and flyers will be available at Caife Aspire (during the same hours) the week prior to the sales. You can also rent a table to sell your items inside the Caife Aspire building for just $25. You’ll have no worries about inclement weather, and there will be plenty of camaraderie available. Spaces are limited, of course, so email caifeaspire@gmail.com as soon as possible if you wish to reserve a spot to sell your wares.

Don’t forget to SHOP the garage sales, too! This community project can only be a true success if it is supported by everyone. Have someone watch your sale while you take an hour to browse other sales in your neighborhood, or across town. You never know when you might find exactly what you need.
