Have you ever wanted to …

  • Sit in the driver’s seat of a Fire Engine?
  • Climb inside a Garbage Truck?
  • Explore the inside of a School Bus?

Well, put your imagination “in gear” and join us for our annual Touch-A-Truck event at the Manchester Community Fair.

This event is perfect for kids of all ages and is sure to be loads of fun! Your little ones can climb and explore vehicles large and small. Children of all ages will get a firsthand opportunity to meet all the really cool work vehicles we see every day, but don’t always get the chance to touch or speak with their operators.

Join us Friday, August 11, from 2 to 5pm at the Manchester Community Fair, located at 220 Vernon St for our Touch-A-Truck event. This is a great opportunity for the entire family to get up close and personal with almost any type of vehicle you can imagine. Be sure to bring your camera so you can capture fun photos of your kids as they marvel, climb, honk, and creatively explore more than 15 vehicles. This event is free to all with your Friday general admissions to the fair.

The fun continues on Saturday, as this year Saturday is Kid’s Day and we will have pedal pull, face painting, and a balloon artist from 1 to 5pm and a kid’s drawing for prizes at 5 pm. These are free events with Saturday’s admission to the fair.
