WCSO November 2023 police services monthly report

During the month of November there were 167 calls for service in the City of Manchester. During this time, 100 traffic stops were made, resulting in 19 citations.

Noteworthy events in the City during the month included:

  • On November 30, a Collaboration Deputy responded to the 600 Block of E. Duncan Street for a report of a Fraud. An unknown suspect was able to convince the complainant to send them $2,500 in gift cards to satisfy a false debt. The suspect(s) were also able to access the complainant’s bank account and withdraw $5,500. At this time, the investigation has revealed that the suspect(s) are likely from India and used a VOIP telephone number that has been traced back to that country.
  • Ordinance violations – 1 – A blight issue was resolved in the 700 Block of Granger Street.

The Sheriff’s Office has gone live with a crime data dashboard on its website. The dashboard is interactive and pulls data by zip codes. The data is updated regularly.
