MHS Quiz Bowl wins 2 matches, loses 1 in Whitmore Lake

Manchester High School’s Quiz Bowl team competed in a triple-header in Whitmore Lake on Monday, February 5. 

They lost to Milan High School in their first match, 100 to 140. Manchester started strong and led early doing especially well on literature questions but Milan pulled ahead and won in the second half on science and geography questions. 

Manchester won the second match, which was against host team Whitmore Lake, 260 to 190. Manchester came out strong on culture and literature and history, maintained on geography, and finished strong on a series of biology questions. 

Although it was neck and neck for the first half of the third match, which was against Washtenaw Christian Academy, Manchester was eventually victorious, 160 to 110. 

The Manchester High School Quiz Bowl Team is competing again this Monday, February 12, at the Washtenaw Intermediate School District building.
