Family Story Time continues with special guest readers presenting stories, music, and hands-on activities. Manchester District Library (MDL) hosts this weekly event for the littlest readers on Tuesdays at 11am in the youth area on the main floor. Recommended for preschool age children with an adult.

Makers in all media are invited to bring their latest project to the Manchester District Library (MDL) and get inspiration from other participants during Maker Nights. If you knit, crochet, quilt, sew, felt, weave, spin, paint, draw, sculpt, model, fold, glue, assemble, collect, display, or craft in any form — you are welcome to join, work, and socialize 6:30-8:30pm in the lower-level conference room of City Hall at 912 City Rd. This is a great opportunity for beginners to get help from experienced practitioners or for small groups to work together on creative interests. This event happens monthly on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday with the next session being held on Wednesday, March 6. Recommended for ages 13+.

Stop by the library or visit the event calendar for information about these and other great programs for all ages at the MDL. Questions? Call (734) 428-8045. MDL is located at 912 City Rd. Hours are Monday–Thursday, 10am–8pm; Friday, 10am–6pm; and Saturday, 10am–2pm. The most up-to-date hours and the latest news are always available on the MDL website

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
