I don’t know if any of us really know what to say about this weekend, but it truly was an adventure that we will remember forever.

The Digital Dislocators competed in the DTE Energy Foundation Division, and even though we experienced a few bumps along the way, when the dust settled we were ranked 2/40 with a record of 9-2-1, and ended up becoming the captain of alliance 2. Together with our alliance partners, 4362 | CSPA Gems and 6615 | Bellevillains, we were able to battle through the elimination bracket and win the division with a record of 5–0! We were also the recipient of the Quality Award for the second time this year!

As we moved onto FiMstein (the overall finals) to compete against the other division winners our alliance experienced an unfortunate first-match loss, but it only strengthened our determination and helped us fight our way back into the finals against the opposing alliance from the Hemlock Division.

Our crew played their hearts out and left everything on the field, but after two nearly flawless matches from both alliances, we were ultimately defeated 0–2 just short of the MSC title. Congratulations to 27 | Team RUSH, 5712 | Hemlock’s Gray Matter, 51 | Wings of Fire, and 4405 | The Atoms Family on their well-earned victory!

As a team, we were able to accomplish so many things this weekend that many of us only ever dreamed about. We are so extremely proud of our students and our mentors, our team parents, all of our wonderful sponsors, and everyone else who has helped the Digital Dislocators on their journey over the years. We couldn’t do it without you.

The season isn’t over yet, though, as the team has secured their spot at the world championship for the second year in a row. See you soon, Houston!
