Obituary: Arthur Louis Melcher

Arthur Louis Melcher (November 16, 1931 - April 11, 2024)

Arthur Louis Melcher, 92, passed away at home under hospice on April 11, 2024. 

Arthur was born on November 16, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan to Lewis and Martha (Feiblekorn) Melcher. Arthur married the love of his life, Marjeanne Davidson, on June 18, 1955 in Allen Park, Michigan and they enjoyed nearly 69 wonderful years together.   He will be remembered as a family man who loved spending time outdoors. Arthur mostly enjoyed gardening, yardwork and tinkering in his barn.

Arthur will be missed by; his children, Sharon (Erich) Homolka, Bridget (Thomas) Wolk, Steven (Tammy) Melcher, David (Kristine) Melcher, Ronald (Cindy) Melcher; brother, Raymond (Joan) Melcher; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Martha Melcher and brother, Donald (Ginny) Melcher.
