Rita Huber, Children and Youth Chairman, represented the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 117 to present a check for $1,000 to the Manchester FIRST Robotics program. The high school team, 6081 The Digital Dislocators, have had another spectacular season. They were the captains of the winning alliance for their first tournament of the season. At the FIRST Michigan State Championship, the team finished strong by competing as alliance captains in the final round of the state championship. Although their alliance was not the victor, their strategy and fast robot impressed many. The team also was awarded the distinguished Quality award by the state judges.

The team is on its way to the FIRST Tech World Championship in Houston for the second year in a row! This is an amazing accomplishment for a small town team that has been successful competing against much larger robotics programs. Best of luck at Worlds, Digital Dislocators.
