April is Volunteer Appreciation Month. Worth Repeating, Manchester’s Charity Resale Shop, could not operate without its past and present volunteers. Our store is completely staffed by volunteers who have given their time and talents to return more than $115,000 to the community since we reopened in 2020.

During the week of April 24 – 27 we have a special game for our shoppers to see how many can recognize our volunteers from photos of their youth. Entry forms are available in the store for shoppers to guess who is on our display board in the window. The person who correctly matches the most names with photos will win a 50% off coupon good for any item in the store.

If you know of any of the following active volunteers, please thank them for their service to the community:

Peggy Allen, Barry Allen, Cara Barillas, Chris Brown, Carole Caldwell, Beth Coutts, Sharon Curtis, Ann Dunn, Sue Fielder, Lori Feiler, Babs Fischer, Janet Goodell, Joan Harvey, Wendi Huber, Colleen Kemner, Dixie Kingsbury, Jana Kress, Sandi Kwolek, Nancy Louden, Annette Maddox, Sammie Martin, Joy Matthews, Patti McCabe, Cathy Moore, Jean Nemacheck, Barry Ostebur, Amy Ritter, Dee Dee Sahakian, Jim Sahakian, Mary Ann Sahakian, Pat Sahakian, Elaine Schaffer, and Sherry Stromsoe.

Worth Repeating is a welcoming place. If you are interested in joining a community of kind, interesting people who are dedicated to Manchester, consider joining our team. Volunteer applications are available in the store.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
