Work on the new trails spearheaded by the High School Mountain Bike Team and supporters is underway. This Sunday, May 5 at 1pm there will be a public work day to clean up trash in the empty lot east of Klager Elementary School, next to the Community Gardens. You can access the gardens from the bus loop off of Dutch Drive and park next to the gardens. Bring work gloves and water. Currently there are a lot of plastic bottle and cinder blocks that need to be picked up before the trail can be completed. There will be a dumpster provided by the city. Coach Christian Burrell will be there to give instructions and point you to areas of need. This is a great opportunity to get involved and help make new trails in Manchester a reality!
