WCRC: Roadwork in our area this week

Washtenaw County Road Commission will be doing roadwork in all four Manchester-area townships this week.

There will be intermittent lane restrictions on two roads for drainage: Schneider Rd between Austin Rd and Pleasant Lake Rd in Bridgewater and Freedom Townships from May 13 through May 23, and Schleweis Rd between Bowens Rd and Boetger Rd in Manchester Township from May 13 through May 17.

Sharon Hollow Rd between Austin Rd and Sharon Valley Rd Manchester in Sharon Townships will have intermittent lane closures from May 6 through May 17 for road resurfacing.

Sharon Valley Rd over River Raisin, between Sharon Hollow Rd and Meyers Rd in Sharon Township, will have intermittent lane restrictions on May 13 and 14 for permit work and soil boring.

Local and primary soft-surface roads in Freedom Township will have intermittent lane restrictions from May 3 through 16 for dust control.

All dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
