58th Annual Manchester Canoe and Kayak Race results

Despite some Facebook advertising glitches that left organizers worried they hadn’t successfully gotten the word out, the 58th Annual Manchester Canoe and Kayak Race had a great turnout on Sunday with 84 individuals or teams racing and 11 sprints races!

Organizers stated, “We feel the event went well overall but are looking at how to make it better for next year. We will probably start sprints earlier and will likely do awards earlier, as well, as most places are determined before the last racers come in. We hope everyone enjoyed the day and our beautiful stretch of the River Raisin and our town. So many thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, and participants.”
