Meet the new Riverside principal and Varsity football coach

Josh Lindeman, new principal at Riverside Intermediate School and new varsity football coach

It is with great pride and excitement that we share with you the news that Mr. Josh Lindeman is our new Principal at Riverside Intermediate School and our new Manchester High School Varsity Football Coach!

Josh brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in school leadership, and we are excited to have him become our Riverside leader and our next Football Coach.

Joshu is a native of Southeastern Michigan, where he graduated from Hudson High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Adrian College and received his Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University. He is completing his 18th year in education and has worked for Jackson Public Schools, Addison Community Schools, and Napoleon Community Schools. Joshua has served as a teacher, athletic director, assistant principal, and a coach.

Lindeman has been a head varsity football coach for twelve years; the last ten years were at Addison, where his teams won five Cascades Conference championships in 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, and most recently in 2023 as they finished with a 9-0 season after winning the inaugural Cascades Championship Game. In 2009 he was named Hillsdale County Coach of the year, and was named MHSFCA Regional coach of the year in 2020 and 2023. Was honored as the Lenawee County Coach of the year in 2023 and AP Division 8 State coach of the year in 2023.

Joshua is passionate about his purpose of leading and educating youths to become better versions of themselves. He is a member of Ogden Church and currently resides in Adrian, Michigan, with his wife Deidra and his two children, Giselle (14) and Montgomery (8).

We will have opportunities as we celebrate the end of the school year to meet Josh and have him meet our school community as well.
