WCSO — April 2024 police services monthly report

During the month of April, there were 160 calls for service in the City of Manchester. During this time, 93 traffic stops were made, resulting in 23 traffic citations.

Noteworthy events in the City during the last month include:

On April 11, a Collaboration Deputy responded to the 400 Block of East Duncan for a report of a Larceny from Automobile complaint. The complainant reported that miscellaneous items were stolen from their vehicle overnight, including a debit card. The debit card was used out of county, leading the Deputy to track down nthe suspect. Charges have been sought through the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office.

Ordinance violations – 12; two for blight, in the 100 Block of West Duncan and in the 600 block of Parr Street. Tags were issued in both instances. The remaining 10 ordinance violations were for grass, on Torrey Street, Division Street, Vernon Street, E. Main St., Washington, Duncan Street, and Clinton Street. Tags were issued in all of these situations as well.

Sgt. Joel Gebauer reminded Council of the interactive crime data dashboard on the Sheriff’s Office website. The dashboard pulls data by zip codes, and the data is updated regularly.
