Gemini’s always-popular family concerts were no exception this week!

The always-popular family band Gemini visited the Gazebo last Thursday as part of the Manchester District Library’s Summer Reading Program reading party.

A definite festival atmosphere prevailed in Wurster Park, with free ice cream for all, a bubble table, free kids’ books, and, of course, plenty of dancing to the lively world music.

There will be no Gazebo Concert on Thursday, July 4, but concerts will resume Thursday, July 11, with Jean Wilson and Friends, a sextet of talented career musicians playing jazz standards! Bring a blanket or chairs. Rain location is Emanuel Church, 324 W Main St (kitty-corner to the park).

This concert will be presented by Friends of the Manchester District Library. Thanks to the Library and the Friends for taking on this great task for the second year since the disbanding of the Riverfolk Music and Arts Organization! Gazebo Concerts have been a treasured tradition for more than 30 years in the Manchester community and would be greatly missed.

The bubble table was definitely a popular stop in Wurster Park!
