Community card shower for Paul Whelan

A card shower for Paul Whelan will be held during Fair Week this week, at the Emanuel Snack Shack at the Manchester Community Fair, located across from the tractor pull area.

Plans are to have blank cards available to be decorated, signed, or have messages written in them (or all three). A card table will be set up that will have the supplies for card making along with a box for the cards to be dropped into. The “card shower” will be available on Tuesday afternoon and throughout the week. This is open to the community and anyone with questions may contact Chrissy Whitesall at the Emanuel Church office, 734-428-8359.

Organizers hope to enlarge the card shower in coming weeks so that businesses, churches, and schools can also participate. Cards will be delivered to Paul in the future whenever the family feels it’s time.
